Florence Foster Jenkins

I have just seen an ad on TV that there is a film coming out called "Florence Foster Jenkins" with Meryl Streep.

I had had never heard of the lady before so I Googled her .. well I never -I will have to see this film!

She was an American sociailite who had money and took expensive singing lessons, gave recitals to a close select few...

Apparently she made 8 78's so I looked on Youtube, and her magnificent singing caught my attention and settled that I MUST see the film ... I will leave it to you to decide how good her singing is ...





I did find other videos on Youtube but I am not sure you could stand it .. to give you a clue think Hyacinth Bucket auditioning for her local opera society ?
