How a sparkly collar for your cat could kill it:

Postby wendy » 12 Oct 2015, 08:42

RSPCA warn owners that they can strangle or seriously injure their pets

RSPCA said that diamante collars are the most dangerous to animals
Also said buckles should be avoided after one was surgically removed
Worried owners should consider microchipping instead of using a collar

mine used to because we had a cat flap and they had to have a magnet on a collar to get back into the house but since we moved Honey doesn't wear one because we have no cat flap.

Teddy does but its a safety collar. We know it works as he has come back twice without it! I would worry that someone wouldn't check if he was chipped
he needs his for his magnetic key too.
