Amazing Film -"Albert Nobbs" wiht Glenn Close

I have just finished watching one the most amazing films I have seen in a long while ...

The "man" of the title is played by Glenn Close who does a stunning performance of a man ... beautifully done

The background is that in Ireland at the turn of the century, there was so much poverty that some women started to take on a man's identity just in order to eat and live. Albert Nobbs is based on an 1895 novella by George Moore, via a 1982 stage production in which Glenn Close also starred. It took her 30 years of trying to get the film made ...

I am going to try n get a second viewing in before it goes off iPlayer next weekend it is that good
