The knitted house look very nice, but how is a knitted house going to keep old people warm this winter, surely knitting scarves and blankets to give out would be more beneficial.

I suppose they will sell them, but would it have been better to have a house on a square piece of knitting.

I thought that when I first read it, then I suppose with all the "gimmicks" for want of a better word that have raised loads of money for other causes they thought they would try this?
I am going to have a "fiddle" with the pattern to see if I can come up with a knitted version of "Le Petit Sage" a farmouse, where my aunt, auncle, and cousin Sue used to live when they first moved to Guernsey
