Have you ever tried to grow one of these

I brought a pineapple the other day and thought I'd attempt to try to grow the top as a plant, I've prepared it and put it in a Hyacinth glass so it's not immersed in water and stood it on windowsill............................watch this space.
I found these instructions how to grow pineapple plant, you can even grow them indoors.

good luck with this. my daughter grew one many years ago, got a lovely pot plant from it.

that is great, mine went mouldy, when I tried, so you are well on the way to getting a nice plant.

That's a good idea Jane I'll have to take photo's of the development, I'll do that before I plant it in a pot..
Wendy I think the secret to prevent it going mouldy is change the water regular and make sure the leaves don't sit in the water.
