With the Conservatives winning an overall majority - confounding all the opinion poll predictions - Labours Ed Miliband, the Liberal Democrats Nick Clegg and Nigel Farage of Ukip all announced their resignations in quick succession on Friday morning. So where does this all leave the electoral system given UKIP polled 3.5 million votes, and their former leader, Nigel Farage?
