update on cat

Postby Honey » 15 Apr 2015, 01:01

He is back overnight at vets to have assessment in the morning on ligaments/tendons and bone healing.
Hopefully he will get the all clear and no more ops.
His leg is now back at a normal angle and getting stronger as time passes.
The wound is healing well thankfully, he is much more comfortable and mobile now the pins and screws have been taken out.
So grateful thanks to my supervet for saving his leg.

Thank you
He has got the all clear. Bones and ligaments healed thankfully.
He is still on reduced medication and grounded till the skin surrounding the injury thickens as its so thin.
He will always have a slight limp but he has his leg.

Happy cat.
Lifted the grounded rule this morning as his wound has healed fully.
Opened the back door and left it open, he hesitantly went outside and savoured the sunshine. He then jumped on to the wall and spent a while looking around before disappearing.
I didn't expect to see him back for a couple of days but he came back after an hour covered in dust and leaves and promptly went to sleep in the sunshine on his favourite spot on the wall.
He has been in and out all day
and is now sleeping soundly in his igloo , a very happy cat.

He is definitely getting back to normal.
He has been out all day , came back this evening, ate his tea , had a wash and is sleeping now.
Happy cat and happy owner.
