Baroness Martha Lane-Fox is to deliver the 2015 Richard Dimbleby Lecture
Since co-founding lastminute.com in 1998, Martha Lane Fox has been a leader of digital culture and access in the UK. She was for three years the government’s digital champion, working for Gordon Brown then David Cameron. In 2013, she joined the House of Lords as a crossbencher.
Reflecting her passion for education, she is also the founder and chair of a digital skills charity, Go ON UK and the Chancellor of the Open University.
In the Lecture she will challenge is that everyone must understand the internet better, more critically, and make more – much more - of our digital lives.
