All of the above!!!

I would be in the bedroom with my tape recorder with finger poised over the button so as not to get the DJ's voice in!!

Buying my Jackie magazine and later Just 17 from the news agents and all my friends and I being engrossed whilst walking to school and counting the minutes til break so we can disccuss it!!

Playing out, friends met up not just text/facetime/instagram etc!!

I was always waiting for my pics to come back. i used truprint as you got a free film when you had them developed and it seemed very grown up and posh to have you pics posted rather than taking the film to the chemist.

Getting a written letter was a real treat. My pen pal and I wrote every month.

Off to remenice now!!

on Saturday mornings my friends and I would all go down to the local record shop and wait in line to use the booths with headphones which  played the latest singles.

I remember buying my first single in a little shop opposite what is now Primark.

I too used to dangle my cassette recorder in fron the radiogram to tape the latest singles lol

I can remeMber buying one of the " girlie" teen magazines on an April 1st -they had a free poster of Albert Tatlock as a joke !
