A giant sculpture of an old Spastics Society collection box has been erected in central London. It's aim is to trigger conversations about disability, but Kate Ansell doesn't think it helps.

I not think it will start the right conversation, people will be intrigued by its size and take photos but I do not think it will help the charity or the disabled.

I don't think it will make people think about disability, still far to many ignorant people steer clear of anyone with a disability.

I agree Wendy.
Seems an odd thing to do. There must be better ways to get people to think about disabilities in a more positive and interactive way that promotes understanding and consideration
