I would let the police station know but I am not sure they would be interested.
My concern would be that the money could be all the person had to last them the week, so I would do all I could do to find the loser.
Like Annie said the money would be returned to me if no one claimed it.
A good place to notify is the local post office.

Posted: 15 Mar 2015, 01:53When Mark was in hospital I found a blackberry phone on seats near the entrance and handed it in at reception. I would probably of given the money to a charity.
