pureed meals

I found this site which delivers appetising and nutricious pureed meals.

I think it will save me a lot of time preparing, cooking and pureeing meals for mum.

They look quite appetising Honey, as usually liquidised food is usually all mixed together & looks revolting

Why don't they look like liquid.

Each ingredient is pureed separately with very little liquid and then shaped to look like the original food.

when piglet was in hospital two years ago - i dont know where they got the food from - the pureed meals came in microwavable containers but everything was moulded to represent the food in its unpureed state - so there 'slices' of meat, baby carrots, courgettes and even the fish was made to look like a fillet of fish. It all changed when he went to the nursing home but at least it was separated 'dollops' in the bowl.. I've not seen what he is being given this time as im not there at meal times but i'd told them it didnt have to be pureed anymore just finely chopped meat
