New Norfolk Carers Handbook 2016-17 edition will be available both in print and online

Norfolk Carers and Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) are working in partnership to deliver a Carers Forum for those caring for someone with mental health issues, professionals working with carers and anyone with an interest in caring, wellbeing and mental health (including dementia). The Carers Forum is being held at the Great Hospital on Bishopgate in Norwich on Monday 6th June, 10am – 4pm our first and largest event for Carers Week, a national week (6th – 12th June) dedicated to the UK’s 7 million unpaid (99,000 in Norfolk) carers. Please see the attached flyer – there will be a number of talks from a mixture of local and national speakers on topics, including:
• Confidentiality / data protection
• Mental Capacity
• Young Adult Carers Triangle of Care
• Carers’ Rights
• Carers Recovery
• Implementing the Triangle of Care in NSFT
