Dementia Awareness Training

Postby wendy » 16 Mar 2016, 12:21

This is the first of what we hope to be a series of Dementia Awareness Training events at a variety of locations around the two counties. These are aimed at our Trust members – which includes NSFT staff for whom this is tier one training.

Tuesday 5th April 2016, from 2.00 to 4.30pm
Cromer Parish Hall, Church Street, Cromer, NR27 9HH

A 2½ hour workshop that offers information and insights that will help and support people from all walks of life and aims to offer an introduction to the types and models of dementia; improve understanding of what dementia is; what it might be like to have dementia; how other people can support those with dementia; and includes the experiences of family carers. The session will be led by a member of our Dementia Training Team.

To book yourself a free place please email dementia.training@nsft.nhs.uk
