Police warn motorists as Storm Barney brings strong winds to East Anglia r987 r987 r987

Police are warning drivers to take care this evening as Storm Barney brings gusts of more than 60mph to Norfolk and Suffolk.
The Met Office has issued a yellow “be aware” warning for strong winds in the region for between 4pm and 11.30pm today, due to forecasted “west to south-westerly gales and locally severe gales”.

Getting really gusty here now .. I am glad I don't go into work tomorrow til lunchtime as last time we had strong winds some tiles came off the roof of the Music Room which is part of Wensum Lodge and landed on the path ...

Quite windy last night, but not as bad as the night before ... I had to laugh at some of the twitter posts as they have been posting pictures of "storm" Barney ... a big purple dinosaur !
