When I was 40 I was screened to see if I was likely to develop Diabetes in the future because my mum and Great grandmother were diabetic, result was it was not likely I'd develop diabetes in the future.

I took the test and I had none of the risk factors & my BMI & wt were within healthy limits for my age & it still said I had a 1 in 50 chance of developing it
