Carers Learning Grants -Norfolk

Many carers have benefited in the last two years from undertaking activities through our Carers Learning Grants. Unfortunately, as the numbers of carers wishing to access the Learning Grants have increased significantly in the past twelve months, we now find ourselves unable to meet the demand within budget.
After discussions within the CAP Partnership and with the Carers Council for Norfolk and our funders, Norfolk County Council, it has been agreed that the fairest way forward is to support carers to access a Learning Grant no more than every other year. This will enable us to sustain this support for carers for the foreseeable future.
The maximum amount that can be provided through a Carers Learning Grant remains unchanged at £200.
We may be able to help carers to access alternative sources of funding. Please contact the CAP Helpline on 0808 808 9876 or email cap@crossroadseastanglia.org.uk
