It must be so tough for the pensioners escaping the freezing months in Tenerife or Florida deciding in which restaurants and when to blow their winter fuel allowance.

They forget about the pensioners who only have a state pension to live on, they are not so well off.

I am on a state pension and I find there is more help available today.

I really think that the government has looked after the pensioners but not so good for other groups.
