Whickham Hermitage Community Garden

Postby Rosalind » 12 Feb 2015, 21:59

It is also known as the Secret Garden as it is behind the Community Centre, which is on the main road in Whickham. You have to go up a lane turn right, then up another lane and turn left and go through the door in the stone wall.

Whickham is on the other side of the river from Newcastle upon Tyne, it is near to Gateshead.

We are not too far away from Whitley Bay and the scenery is spectacularly up here, you would enjoy it if you came Annie.
