ANGRY home-treatment patients have been left with bags of dangerous clinical waste piling up in their homes after a specialist collection contract was suddenly cancelled.
Items including needles and tubes contaminated with blood and soiled bandages and pads are amongst the by-products which are involved

I had that problem when I was looking after Dad, not for long though.
They "missed" a collection on the Tuesday (usual collection day) so I rung them up and asked why they had missed us out. They tried to get out of the specialist collection (and future collections by telling me it was okay to put in the wheelie bin. I told them no way was I doing that as I had been told it was classed as a biological hazard... catheter bags, sometimes with blood in etc.
Another van/lorry came later that afternoon to collect it
