Would there be any value in having a Support Group for the family carers of care home residents?

Carers' groups usually include all carers, not just those who care for their loved ones at home. I have several friends whose loved ones are in residential care & they get the same support from our carers' group as I do ( my husband is at home). You could always ask at the care home involved, I believe some homes do run own carers' groups

I have been in a position of having a loved one in a nursing home and being a carer at the same time and found I had everything I needed right here, because forums like chill4us are open 24/7 and other types of groups have set time and date to meet which don't suit everyone.
This is why
http://www.computers4carers.co.uk is so important, getting donated laptop/computers so carers can then access the Internet.
