One little piglet didn’t make it to market, instead she is snuggled up safely by the fire.
The one-week-old-girl was found on a rural Wymondham road on Monday, covered in cuts and bruises and freezing cold.

A kind-hearted passer-by took her home and got in touch with Halls Wood Animal Sanctuary at Stratton Strawless.

Lyz Hall, 35, owner of Halls Wood, said the injuries on the unnamed piglet could have come from falling off the back of a lorry and being attacked by another animal.

And to Ms Hall, the piglet is “adorable”..
