A memorial plaque is to be unveiled by the sisters of a murdered schoolteacher. Ann Maguire was stabbed to death by a pupil in the classroom of a school in Leeds in April. Her teenage attacker was jailed for a minimum of 20 years.
Ann was born and brought up in Wigan and her sisters Denise and Sheila will be unveiling it along with civic dignitaries later.
