A day after parts of Norfolk basked in warm autumn weather, the county is bracing itself for gale force winds
Great Yarmouth was the hottest place in the UK yesterday, with thermometers rising to 21-22C (71.6F) despite the grey and overcast sky.

We already have gale force winds here this morning & it is decidedly chilly, I nearly got blown away when I walked down the canal, at least it stayed fine. We never saw the sun yesterday it was grey all day but it was very mild

It has been really gusting here just now, not going out unless I really need to tomorrow if it gets any stronger.
My friend came back from her hol to find a tree had been blown down blocking one end of the path she uses to get home -just as well she has a scooter as it is a heck of walk to her home from the other end...

Weather is terrible here, it's tipping down and it's so windy the trees are nearly folding in half, I just heard someone's bin blow over.

It has been sunny here with a strong wind, we have been lucky as it has not been as bad as other places. Hope everyone is alright and have managed as best they can.
