I can get on the internet with the I pad when I have turned the laptop on it is saying there is no internet connection the internet is lit up on the router,as anybody got any idea what the matter is

have you tried switching off the internet at the wall?
and leave for 10 mins, and then try again.

Ann does ipad connect to internet when laptop is off?

And

Have you checked settings on ipad to see if wi-fi is turned on?

I will try them both the internet is still working on the iPad when the laptop is of

Problem solved I switched of on the wall and it solved the problem

It's a good thing for everyone to remember if you have Internet problems, turn off Router/Hub or a few minutes and then switch it back on.
