Does anyone remember the coin meters we had to pay for our electric and gas.
Maybe some have still got them.
I can't remember what coin we used but I do remember how frightening it was if the money ran out and we had to search for a coin.
I wonder how they used to pay for the older gas lighting.  I can still remember that but not how it was paid for.

I remember It use to be a Shilling for the meter Wendy.
