I am allergic to any clothing containing polyester and  have been since a terrible skin eruption  in the '60s when dresses made from crimplene were introduced.
I can only wear natural cotton  against my skin.
I researched this , and it  seems  I am allergic to any clothing  with a petroleum base.
I hope the people in this article will be  provided with  suitable alternative clothing.
