Now recruiting for a research study on the impact of leg ulcers

We are now recruiting participants for a research study exploring the psychological wellbeing of people with leg ulcers, the wellbeing of their carers and the relationship between them.


If you’re over the age of 18 and have leg ulcers, or if you provide unpaid care for somebody who does, then you’re eligible to take part in this questionnaire study.


The project is interested in your thoughts and feelings regarding leg ulcers and their impact. Your responses to our questionnaires will help us gain a better understanding of their impact.


Participation should take no longer than 45 minutes, and can be completed online. For more information, and to take part, please click here

This research is being sponsored by The Leg Ulcer Charity, and completed by PhD Student Pippa Tollow. The study has been reviewed and received a favourable opinion from NHS Research Ethics Committee (South Central – Berkshire B), and the University of Surrey Ethics Committee.
