Three people have been arrested in South Wales on suspicion of the wilful neglect of a vulnerable 88-year-old woman at a care home.

Two men, aged 27 and 72, and a 42-year-old woman, all from Rhondda, are also suspected of perverting the course of justice in relation to the incident alleged to have occurred in March this year at the Zoar Residential Home in Tonypandy.

South Wales Police say they are treating it as an isolated incident.
