Legal advice for carers

LEGAL and financial experts are holding a series of drop-in events in Pendle this week to show carers what they are entitled to.
Carepal will be holding sessions at St Bartholomew’s Parish Church in Colne from 10.30am to 3pm, and The ACE Centre in Nelson from 10am to 4pm, on Wednesday, and at Colne Post Office from 10am to 1pm on Friday. The events will provide the opportunity for people to ask the experts any questions they have about legal and financial support as part of Carers Week.
Liz Faye, co-founder and head of care services at Carepal, said: “Carers Week is a fantastic way of making sure that all the amazing carers in Lancashire are aware of what they are entitled to. We are happy to do anything we can to help make their role easier and give them guidance and information that they may be unaware of.”
