We're delighted to bring you the news that 92-year-old Age UK fundraiser Jean 'the bee lady' Bishop has made it on to the Independent on Sunday's 2014 Happy List!
For the past 14 years, Jean has been shaking her collection tin all over Hull in the name of Age UK whilst wearing her now infamous bee costume. In that time, Jean has raised a phenomenal £100,000 for Age UK! Last year, she was named ‘Fundraiser Of The Year 2013’ at the Pride of Britain awards in recognition of her work.
