......can't people who are non family 24/7 carers understand how we are unable to do/go/attend appointments / events etc

I knew only to well what that felt like, only a family 24/7 carer will understand this.

I know it is really frustrating.

I always thought family members would understand this but the pressure I get put under to attend things is really heard. they seem to think i can either put Lee in kennels for the day or he will have a miraculous recovery! I know there are days he can do things but you would think after 12 years they would know this!

I find that appointments with dentists etc are far more accommodating than family!!
