The UK is heading for a warm weekend with temperatures hotter than the South of France and the Greek Islands.
Runners and rowers wrapped up warm in Cambridge as a heavy frost covered the banks of the River Cam earlier.
But the sun soon came out to melt the frost and temperatures are expected to increase as the week goes on.
Highs of 18C are expected in Heathrow in London on Sunday - double the average Spring temperature of 9C
