I have used thymol mouthwash for over 50 yrs . it used to be called glycerine of thymol.
my dentist told me to use it when I had 15 teeth out as a child due to an accident, so I did and have never used anything else and have had no problems.
It was widely available till recently.
yet dentists still use it for rinsing after treatment. (the pink stuff they give us)
it is a safe natural product.
after searching on the net, I find it is now only available on prescription.
impossible, as the dentists promote cordosyl etc.
double standards?
