Christmas card warns London council tenants 'pay your rent'

We, in the London Borough of Lambeth, have been getting these cards for the past few years.
It is insulting, but I think they do have a point, a lot of people aren't paying their rent, or the right amount. For years, in Lambeth at least, the rent is not their first priority.
I could be insulted about getting this card, but other people suffer when so much rents are owed. Saying that tho, Lambeth Council is spending a fortune to build a new town hall, and there is nothing wrong with the old one.
Trouble is good tenants suffer because of bad tenants. x Jeanne
ps. they need to get their act together over Housing Benefit forms too. x
