Do you have a home hairdresser?
Do you go to the hairdressers?
Have you had the same one for many years or not?
I have a hairdresser come to the house of a friend, and only been using her for about a year, but I am happy with her.
I no longer colour my hair.
What can you share with us about your hairdresser?

Looking forward to hearing Georges reaction to the dread locks!!
I have been going to my hairdresser on and off for nearly 20 years. She is fabulous. She will slot me in at a moments notice as she knows I am a grumpy mare when my roots reach critical mass!! I used to colour my own hair but supermarket ones aren't strong enough for my thick grey hair! I am self conscious of going grey as I started to when I was 25. My Mum went grey at 18.
Lee will go when he can. he went last week and came back like a bowling ball with fuzz as he got the wrong blade number! He meant blade 2 but asked for 1!!
I have had my hair various lengths, colours and permed! my king Charles years are particularly noteable!! I had a spiral perm in the 90's. i thought I was the bees knees but looking at the photo's I looked a right plonker!!
I like to go and have a good natter and relax when I get my hair done. A bit of me time!
Please let us know how George takes Leah's new hair do!!
xxxxx

I go to the hairdressers. it is about 6 mins walk from the house, have been going to Haircraft for around 10 years, there are only 2 stylists and Joanne does mine, I don't like the other girl. I used to have a colour every 5- 6 weeks, as I started to go grey in my 20s, but this year I have let it grow out and it is a lovely shade of white, I have had more compliments about the colour than when it was dyed!!! I still go about every 5 weeks & have a cut wash and blow, my treat, I love the scalp massage when you have it shampooed.
I have a simple short bob at present but I have had a variety of lengths, styles and colours over the years, , and perms , my favourite was in my 30s & 40s when I had it various shades of red the brighter the better!!!!

Cheap n cheerful for me ... I tend to take pot luck at Crop Shop, though just for a trim, then I colour it at home .. you should see the state of the old towels I use when I do it lol
I did have it permed years ago, but couldn't stand them smell and the sitting about -I think I last got ti done at the Co-op in Norwich, so that was quite a while ago as they closed before the store did...

I cant make appointments and promise to be able to keep them.
if I am out shopping and have half an hour to spare i go in on spec to various hairdressers who might have time to give me a quick dry trim.

It is nice when you can get your hair done, it makes you feel good, doesn't it. But it is difficult for some of us, I know. Some of the hairdressers that visit you at home can be quite expensive. x Jeanne

That's very good value, London is very expensive for hair treatments. x Jeanne
