Is it just me or is our British autumn fruit tastier than normal this year? I have been enjoying delicious conference pears and cox and russet apples. They are so juicy and good value at the moment. Tesco had pears on sale at £1 a bag of 6. I just had one for breakfast, a lovely change. I have been getting the apples from a local greengrocer. I like to eat an apple with crackers and cheese for lunch.
I still have my favourite banana each day too. xmas4 so feeling quite fruity ;)

I think you are fruity enough!!
I love pears but whenever I gt them they are gritty and hard so have given up.
You will certainly be regular with all that fruit though!!

I love this time of year when English apples are in season, they have so much more flavour than the imported ones. I got Russets and Spartans this week from Booths.

There was a really interesting bit about English apples on Countryfile last night. They were saying how tasty they are this year, also that none go to waste as those not good enough to eat are juiced. Apparently there found 52 varieties of apples in an orchard!! Yummy ju098

My friend brought me some beautiful big red apples to church yesterday, I don't know what kind they are, just know they are from Sainsburys. George said they are delicious. If we can't eat them all I might go mad and make a crumble. x Jeanne
