Hear here Mo.
When my Nan was in a care home after a big stroke (she did physically recover but could no longer live on her own even with help) the owner of the home did tell us on more than one occasion that we were about the only relatives who visited - we went at least once a week and on Sundays took her out in the car to Wroxham for a look round Roys where we could buy her clothes and treat her to tea, as her home was at Coltishall next to the War Memorial.
On the other side though, we are all different, and maybe some people have already done their "grieving" as the person they loved "disappears"?
