Forecasters have issued a yellow weather warning for our region with heavy rain expected tonight.
There may be some thunder and a stronger breeze as the evening develops but forecasters believe the weather will become lighter and more patchy by the end of the night.

Members of Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service are currently examining the water flow near Timberhill Norwich city centre, according to a fire service spokesman.

Western areas of the east of England are expected to be dry by dawn.

Parts of the UK has experienced heavy rain, thunder and lightning as a result of ex-tropical storm Henri moving across from the Atlantic to the south-east coast, and a yellow weather warning for rain issued by the Met Office for East Anglia.

There is a possibility of localised flooding, the forecaster said, with more than an inch of rain falling in some areas.
