The Carers Agency Partnership (CAP) is funded by Norfolk County Council and Norfolk’s NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups to deliver the Adult (16+) Carers Support Service within Norfolk. CAP has supported nearly 3000 carers since our service started in July 2013, many of whom are, in increasing numbers, looking after someone affected by mental health issues. We recognise that carers of people affected by mental health issues can have different needs and concerns to other groups of carers.
Working in partnership with Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust (NFST) and North Norfolk CCG, we would like to invite you to a ‘listening event’ looking at the needs of carers looking after someone affected by mental health issues in North Norfolk:
Mental Health Carers Listening Event (North Norfolk)
Monday 13th July 2015, 10am – 12.30pm
Nigel Grimsey Room, ACT Centre
St Michaels Avenue, Aylsham
Norfolk, NR11 6YA
Your views and experiences will help ‘shape’ the development of our services and those of our partners in the coming months to ensure they meet the needs of carers looking after someone affected by mental health. If you are able to join us on Monday 13th, please contact me using my details below or the CAP Helpline on 0808 808 9876 (free and local number). Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed. I look forward to seeing you at the listening event on Monday 13th July in Aylsham
With kind regards,
Kevin
