TWO full time carers reunited to complete a song they started writing half a century ago when teenagers aged 13 and 14.

Steve cares for his 94 year old father John and Alan for his 59 year old poorly wife Gillian.
Alan said: “We wrote the song chorus for Lovelier 50 years ago. We reunited last year and wrote the verses. It must be a world record and the song that has taken the longest time to complete – a lifetime, actually!”
“Caring doesn’t leave you a lot of time for yourself but we are linked by computers and burn the midnight oil to write music together”
