Airlines cleared for mobile phone use during flights

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) says electronic devices such as mobile phones can be left switched on during flights.

EASA says that electronic devices do not pose a safety risk.

I wish they would make up their minds ... and have some consistency. I had a "run-in" with a stewardess last year flying out to Guernsey who refused to let me take any pics while we were taking off ... Mind, she had completely changed her mind about it on the flight back to Norwich - she even gave me an extra pack of biscuits !

This year I made sure to ask even though I knew I was in the right, this stewardess asked me if my camera was wi-fi enabled, I didn't even know that cameras could do that .. I do now though... It wasn't so I clicked and videoed away like anything ...
