Burnley Canal Festival to be a ‘feast for all the senses’

Postby annie » 17 Aug 2014, 08:08

BURNLEY Canal Festival promises to be a ‘feast for all the senses’.

A spokeswoman for Burnley Council said the event at festival centred around the Inn on the Wharf on the August Bank Holiday weekend is set to be ‘fabulous’.

She said: “With boat trips, street theatre, live music, raft racing, free canoeing sessions, children's activities and much more, it should be a wonderful feast for all the senses.

“Don't miss the giant puppet parade from noon on the Saturday and raft racing on Saturday and Sunday from 3pm.”
