Feeling peckish? Here are five natural and healthy hunger tamers that will keep you feeling full for longer:

Avocados Rich in monounsaturated fats and vitamin E, the fats send signals to your brain to tell your stomach it's full.

Eggs In a study, people who had eggs for breakfast ate 315 fewer calories in a day than cereal-eaters.

Apples Their high soluble fibre and pectin content helps you feel full, and regulates your blood glucose level. They also require lots of chewing, which slows down eating.

Milk Rich in whey protein - one of the most satiating nutrients.
