I always fear after pressing a smiley to go in a post, that is the correct one, and not another that shows up.
How terrible if it is a sad post and I had pressed a do877
I always try to press preview to make sure.

Have you got any dreads?

That is mine too, I do a preview, then check the poster after it has been posted as well

Thank goodness for the preview button, I use it most of the time.
