23m  Idid not kow either that monopoly first came out in 1935 its so up to date -the family love this game and sometimes we play it several times a week  especially in winter sometimes we prefer to play this game instead of watching TV and    like jane said    (Not many games stand the test of time like this one) coffeex

We used to play with at home in the 50s, thepieces consisted of a wooden plinth with a slot in & the iron, etc were cardboard. At Christmas , Warrne brought the latest version which is still played with a board, but using an ipad, however all the properties and stations are US ones, so it was disappointing

I remember it coming out on Xmas day when I was growing up. Personally I found it very boring!!

Used to start no end of "disagreements" when we played it -we still kept playing it though ...  sp0 sp0 sp0
