Hi everyone xx making lots of changes including recruiting a live in carer shortly. Has anyone else had experience of this? I love Mark so much but I struggle to care for him on my own. We are lucky to have good funding so can afford live in care.

Debs I've had experience of live in care, you'll probably be alright as you live there so you can keep an eye on them, hope you get one that speaks and understand English, some nationalities are bone idle.

for the first time this winter, I woke in the night cold.
I had not listened to the weather forecast that said it was going to be cold.
someone said it was snowing this morning. the winds have gone.
my tree is in full blossom.

I visited my friend in hospital today, she has had 2 hip replacements.
I arranged my visit through her son, and when I got to the hospital she had a friend with her who was determined she was not going to leave.
I sat and waited but could not wait any more, it was most embarrasing. I know my friend is not well enough for long visits, but this friend of hers seemed settled in for the afternoon.
I left the things I had taken and came away.

What an amazing day.
Firstly I have a letter of importance for carers in the local papers. I will scan it as soon as I can.
Then a lady gave me a calander in Asda and it is about angels.
Then when I came on the internet a man has donated a pc netbook.
I am well pleased.

I have been to the doctors and I may have Labyrinthitis.
I have to rest and go back to the doctors on Monday for some proceedure. I must not drive after.
It could last for months, but hopefully the proceedure will sort me out.

I hope to go to aqua class this afternoon & going to book a back massage for sometime in next 2 weeks, as I have a 40% off voucher at salon where I get my nails done

Lovely morning- sun shining . Marks sister is here so I'm chilling with Dudley and catching up with boring stuff like paying bills. Fingers crossed the live in care is almost sorted-will be nice not to be tied to set visits and to have someone around all day. Hope everyone is okay.

good morning,
what an idiot I am, I have been getting ready all morning for going to the hospital this afternoon as in my diary and I picked up the letter to take with me, and the appointment is tomorrow. Thank goodness I did not go.
It is a lovely day and i have all my washing out, so hope it drys.
It is very funny but I put the pictures that I took of the birds on a local website and someone told me off. They honestly thought I had climbed the Cathedral tower to take the photos. Can you believe it, made my day.
Well it is nice to know the rest of the day is mine.
