What would you do?

Postby wendy » 26 Jan 2016, 14:46

I have put this in the private part of Chill.

I was imagining what I would do if it had been me that had the lost lottery ticket.
I would soon fill a topic up with all that I dreamed about, and I will share with you, but what would you do?
Would you travel, or move house.................................

I would do all the house repairs, sell it and move to a bungalow & I would employ a full time PA. I would love to go to Africa on a safari and also visit the David Sheldrake Elephant Trust. I would also ensure the kids had enough to make their lives a lot easier

hasn't it been nice dreaming Annie,
I will wait awhile before I reply, because I am still enjoying the feeling, at the moment I am getting joy from imagining that you have won.

I think I would send £10,000 to all the loyal members of chill. Wouldnt it be nice to be able to do that.
Please let us know your dreams.

I might buy a Bungalow here but I would definitely buy a holiday home in the sun and a 2nd car.
I would support local animal rescue centres as they struggle more than the bigger charities, would also make sure my brother had everything he wanted and also my brother in law.

Treat everyone on Chill, pay for hotel, travel and all expenses for members who wanted to get together.

I would buy a bungalow, give money to all my favourite local charities and pay for all of us on chill to meet up and spend the weekend together.

I am going to have such fun writing down my thoughts what I would do.
But would your life ever be the same again, even after we have done the exciting bits there would be still loads of money left.
It will feel very odd, writing things down.

Having all that money is equally as daunting as having none.

I agree Maureen, I have a slight headache working out my plans.

I would hate all the begging letters that I would receive and it would be difficult to bin them without reading them.

I think I am going to stay happy with what I have got and my dreams.

I do not buy a lottery ticket, but it is nice to dream.

I would love to use it to set up a charity to help give carers better support and help. I live your idea of a weekend with all the chillers too. I can't think of what I would want really. Maybe update my car? I must admit I would find it very stressful if I did win! I must be the only person who would have an anxiety attack and feel sick!
