Good afternoon, it is a beautiful sunny day with some blue sky, what a treat!
Been to the butchers to collect my order, been to chemist for prescriptions, had a walk down canal, & am going for a hot stone massage this afternoon. Hope you have a good day

Merry Christmas, hope Santa has bought you something nice & that your day is not too stressful. I have all the family coming, there will be 9 of us altogether, so busy cooking this afternoon. I am going for a long walk before I get started.

Merry Christmas, hope everyone got everything they wished for. All set for 1pm lunch, there are four of us. Going out for a walk later with Milo, need to wrap up as bitterly cold here.

Just having some Marmalade on toast for tea .. Xmas lunch round my nieces and her hubby (Jake n Jessie's Mum n Dad) Bruv n Sis-In-Law -starters, main course and sweet n drinks.. phew ..

Lots of fun watching the littuns unpack, and Jake was so chuffed he got a personal letter from Santa saying how good he and his sister had been this year!

Jessie, Jakes' sister was trying the sweet, profiteroles, and was sitting on Sis-In-Law's lap. When she was asked if she would like another she reached out, took one from sis-in-law's plate, then another .. bless ... lol

I hope you have all had a peaceful Xmas, thinking of you all ...

Love N Hugs,

Liz

Good morning, the rain is torrential here & it is still dark.
Apparently our main road is flooded & police have cordoned it off. I keep thinking of those poor people in Cumbria, it is going to be another horrific day for them.
I am having a quiet day today & hope to watch some of the stuff I recorded last night, I have done one lot of washing & I am going to Warren's for tea.

We had a lovely day yesterday with all the family here

Hope you have a good day

I had a lovely day yesterday, one of my best Christmas days.
I went to the Church Service at 10am, came home for a coffee and then went to Ross and Chrissys for Christmas Day.
It was a peaceful day and they both did all the hard work, whilst Trixie and me just dozed.
Had a great meal at tea time and then came home to watch Corrie and Downton.
Now it is back to normal for me, with nothing else arranged.
I hope you are alright and had a nice day.
There is a very bad accident in the next village. Not very nice for the people involved.

Good afternoon, it is a gorgeous day today , blue sky and sunshine, most welcome, I had a bad night & didn't get to church this am, but I've done my ironing & been for a lovely long walk down the canal. No sign of swans today but found a large group of 24 Canada Geese, strange that, we only usually get one or 2 of them round here, but , last Boxing Day, I came upon a large group of them & they had disappeared after a few days

good morning,
I have done some washing and getting back to normal.
There seems to be rubbish on the telly as well, in the evenings.
I am pleased with myself I phoned my internet company and told them I was leaving because they were going to put it up by £3.99 a month.
I got loads off my monthly bill and wont have to pay the £3.99
I am relieved.
so sorry about your foot Annie, have you any arnica cream to get the bruise out?
love to all

Good morning, we have 50mph winds out there this am, but so far no rain. Lady is coming from Age UK later on to see how they can help us while my sprained ankle heals, apparently, this is a free service offered to all elderly who come through our Urgent Care Centre
My daughter-in-law and daughter are doing shopping for me today
Hope you have a good day

Another windy day here but it's stopped raining. The power went off at 2 this morning which meant Marks bed alarm went off and the lifeline kept beeping!! Dudley still has his cone on to stop him scratching so he's feeling sorry for himself!! Annie I hope your ankle feels better soon. Is anyone doing anything special for new year? I enjoy watching the fireworks on TV- can't imagine what they must cost! I need to write some letters to our banks and benefits people to inform them of our new address- do I need to send proof of our new address? Take care everyone xx

Good morning, it is wet and windy, Storm Frank fizzled out yesterday after a couple of hours I am glad to say.

My daughter took me to Aldi yesterday & I stocked up on my basics , in case my ankle takes a while.
My friend is coming today to take me to Booths to do the fresh stuff, hopefully we will find somewhere accessible to have a spot of lunch. My ankle feels a little easier this am & I find pottering about helps, as it stiffens considerably when I sit. Warren's crutch has made it a lot easier as it supports me really well, much better than my usual stick

Hope you have a peaceful day
