parking ticket

Postby JaneJ » 20 Sep 2015, 17:28

I was in town on Saturday and put my money in the meter to buy my ticket. I put it in the car on the dashboard as usual.

off my friend and I went to have a lovely couple of hours of shopping and cake.

I got back within the time to find a parking ticket. When I shut my door it must have blown the ticket over. So because I hadn't displayed it properly it have a £60 fine. Or if I don't pay withing 14 days a £100 fine! This doesn't seem fair to me. Such a huge price in a carpark to charge.

Lee says he will ring them on Monday but I don't hold out much luck.

So upsetting

I am so sorry.
You may be better to write to them explaining what happened and a witness if possible.
If you have to pay then try and put it behind you ,next year it will just be a memory.
Please give yourself a big hug from me.
